Sugar Cookies!

3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 egg (room temp)
3 TBL half and half
2 tsp vanilla

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together.

In another bowl mix sugar, butter, vanilla and egg together. Slowly add in half and half.

Mix flour mixture into the butter mixture.

Chill dough for about an hour in the fridge.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Roll dough out on and use a cookie cutter or a knife to cut different shapes. Place on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 6-7 minutes.

Frosting

4 cups powder sugar
1/2 cup shortening or butter
5 TBL milk
1 tsp vanilla

food coloring as desired.
