The Shell:
1 stick butter
1 1/2 tsp. shortening
5 TBL powdered sugar
1 cup flour
dash of salt
1 egg
Mix all ingredients together. Bake for 40 minutes at 300 degrees.
Filling:
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
dash of nutmeg
8 oz. cream cheese
1 TBL powdered sugar
Fresh fruit
In a pan boil sugar, lemon juice, nutmeg and fresh fruit of your choice.
Mix together cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Add some of fruit mixture to the cream cheese mixture.
Cut up fresh fruit and place on top of tarts. Drizzle the remaining fruit mixture over the tarts! Enjoy!
