Dark Chocolate Cupcakes!


8 tablespoons butter
4 ounces dark chocolate
1/2 cup cocoa (regular or dark works)
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
2 large eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sour cream


In a large bowl mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, sugar and salt together.

In another bowl add softened butter, eggs, vanilla and sour cream together.

In a bowl melt the dark chocolate chips either using the microwave or a double broiler on the stove.

Combine dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Once all of those ingredients are mixed add in the melted dark chocolate.

Pour 1 ice cream scoop size of batter into the cupcake tins.

Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
